ECOPNEUS: Product Social FootPrint

Application of the Product Social Footprint (PSFP) methodology to evaluate the social and ethical impact of the entire chain of collection, recovery and recycling of End of Life Tyres in Italy.
The project has involved the participation of 89 companies from Ecopneus system, located throughout Italy.
689 people, of which 89% men and 11% women with a mean age of 38 years and working for the 17% in offices, 28% handwork and 55% with the help of mechanical tools: these are just some of the results, which also have allowed to assess the ethical-social impact of macro areas (north, centre and south), by region and by specific companies of the supply chain.
